Mean Skreenz is a product made by Wax Face Enterprise based out of Denver, Colorado. Mean Skreenz is a chemical resistant, polymer screen used in the extraction of essential oils. The idea started at our facility in Colorado. After going through a few thousand coffee filters, we decided it was time to come up with something that wasn’t as wasteful, didn’t tear, and get plant matter in our oil.
We started doing a little research, and eventually found the chemical resistant polymer we use now! They are recyclable, eco-friendly, washable and reusable!
Mean Skreenz provide long lasting eco-friendly solutions for the extraction of essential oils from plant matter.
Oil Extraction Filters
Mean Skreenz filters measure approximately 5"X5", and there are three to a package. These filters are intended to be placed on the end of an essential oil concentrate extraction tube. Our material is chemical and solvent resistant. It is also resistant to heat, cold, water, etc... Polyester screens have a stable physical property and low elongation at high tension, so it is suitable for the filtering industry.
Mean Skreenz are extremely durable, and will perform for a lifetime if properly cared for. Coffee filters have a tendency to tear, releasing plant matter into your concentrate. Cheese cloth and steel screens accumulate residual matter resulting in loss of oil.
